- Look Over Your Policy Information- Make sure each vehicle is being rated properly. Check to see if the usage (whether you drive to work and how far you commute) is accurate. Also, look at some of the “Bells and Whistles” on the policy. If you have AAA, do you need the towing? Or if your policy comes with Roadside Assistance, can you get rid of AAA?
- Shop You Insurance- There are TONS of insurance companies out there. While there are benefits to staying with the same insurance company for an extended period of time (ex: Some carriers offer accident forgiveness after 3 years.), it is usually in your best interest to see how your current policy stacks up.
